A Message From Jim Ward

March 31, 2023 by Jim Ward, ISA Certified Arborist PD-53

For me, the most exciting part of last year has been the strides our company has made in staff development, training and recruiting new members to our team of arborists.

In November, Jim Roach led our first annual Tree Worker Workshop. Ten of our younger arborists attended along with ten aspiring tree care workers. The two-day workshop was a big success, and we plan to conduct another workshop this fall.

Three of our Arborists passed the International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist Examination. Passing this exam confirms a high level of training and knowledge in all aspects
of arboriculture.

We held two in-house training days for our staff. We train in a variety of topics including pruning, cabling, public relations and safety.

Our focus is to continue to build on the mission and values developed by my father, John B. Ward. We will always provide our clients with the highest level of professional tree care in an honest and informed manner. We thank you for the privilege
of caring for your trees.
